English language is the medium of professional and official communication in Ghana. It is the first subject to be learnt at school. It is also used throughout the learning process because it’s the official medium of communication in Teaching and learning.
Some years ago, Ghanaians were noted for speaking and writing good English. It was so because reading were encourage and students will go to library for books to read.
We don't have those Libraries today because of technology. Life Educational Foundation has introduce READ A BOOK A WEEK to help students in Basic Schools to start reading.
Schools and Students can sign up, then come for books every week and return them for another.
